Explanation of Fees

Application Fee (new students only)
This fee covers the cost of reviewing student documentation for possible admission and includes entrance examination if applicable.

Mandatory Annual Registration Fee (Non-Refundable and mandatory for all students)
This non-refundable fee covers the cost associated with course selection and the scheduling process.

Mandatory Annual Laptop Rental Fee (mandatory for all students)
This fee covers the cost associated with Crespi’s 1:1 MacBook Air Learning Initiative. Each student will be issued a Mac Air pre-loaded with software, mobile device management (MDM), and other education apps as part of Crespi’s learning initiative.

Graduation Fee (mandatory for seniors only)
This fee covers most costs associated with graduation activities i.e., Baccalaureate Mass, caps and gowns, and diplomas.

Student Activities Fee (mandatory for all students)
This fee includes items such as the costs associated with day retreats for underclassmen, speakers/presentations for Exchange Day, etc.

Facilities Maintenance Fee (mandatory for all students)
To provide a safe, secure, well-maintained and organized facility.

Technology Fee (mandatory for all students)
The technology fee helps to defray the costs associated with technology within all areas of the school, i.e. the Technology & Resource Center, classroom upgrades, and general infrastructure.

Elective Course Fee
To cover additional text and materials needed for a particular elective course. This fee is per class.

AP Exam Fee
Students in AP courses are required to take the AP Exam. This fee covers the exam fee charged by the College Board and is per exam taken.

Placement Exam Fee
Placement Exams are offered in Math, Science, Foreign Language and English for incoming freshmen to advance to higher level courses, or honors/AP placement. The fee is per exam taken.

Late Fee
If payment is not received by the 10th day after a due date, a $25 late fee will be assessed.

NSF Fee
Each returned check is subject to a $25 return check charge.

Athletic Fee
Cost varies by sport.

**Textbook Fee (Directly Payable to EdTech)

This fee covers the cost of required textbooks for the school year. Textbooks will be received as a bundle from Crespi’s eBook vendor EdTech Software. EdTech Software is a digital eBook platform from with all Crespi students’ textbooks will be accessible via a single sign-on. The textbook bundle will be released at the beginning of the semester. The EdTech Software can be accessed from a MacBook Air, iPad, or other mobile device.

Note: Parent acknowledges that annually, Crespi makes significant financial expenditures based upon enrollment and therefore, if a student leaves for any reason whatsoever after the first day of a semester, all remaining tuition & fees for the semester are fully payable and prepaid tuition & fees are not refundable.
Tuition Payment Options
Annual Payment
Tuition and fees are paid in full by July 10, 2022. Payments are made directly to Crespi. No fee is charged.
FACTS Tuition Management
- Semi-Annual Payments
Tuition and fees are paid in two payments due July 20 and December 20. Payments are made through FACTS Tuition Service. There is a $25 participation fee.
- Quarterly Payments
Tuition and fees are paid in 4 payments due on July 20, October 20, January 20 and Apr 20. Payments are made through FACTS Tuition Service. There is a $50 participation fee.
- Monthly Payments
Tuition and fees are divided into ten (July 2022 to April 2023) or eleven payments (July 2022 to May 2023). Monthly payments for seniors must be completed by April 20th and for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors by May 20th. All monthly payments are paid through FACTS Tuition Service Management. There is a $100 participation fee. Monthly tuition payments must be made in the month which they are due as tuition does not rollover.

Loan Options
Sallie Mae’s K–12 Family Education Loan and Your Tuition Solution can help you send your child to a private primary or secondary school. Get the money you need for tuition, computers, etc. This is an ideal solution for families who need additional flexibility in paying for private education beyond financial aid, personal savings or traditional payment plans. Loan companies will request a copy of your enrollment contract to certify tuition and fee amounts for the upcoming school year. All loan companies operate independently from Crespi Carmelite High School and all questions should go directly to your preferred loan company.

Deadline to file Financial Aid/Scholarship Applications
Late Applications for Financial Aid will be considered subject to the availability of funds. Scholarships are awarded at the end of this school year and will apply to the 2022-2023 school year.

- Returning Students Re-enrollment opens online for the 2022-2023 school year.
- Required to complete the Financial Commitment Contract

Elijah Leadership Scholarship (Entering Freshmen)
Crespi Carmelite High School awards $10,000 in scholarships over four years ($2,500 per year) toward Crespi tuition to entering freshmen students who have provided outstanding leadership in their school, church or organization. [Click here to apply.]
Eligibility Requirements
1. Student must fill out the Elijah Leadership Scholarship Application for Entering Freshmen along with the required handwritten essay and submit it to the Crespi Admissions Office by January 15.
2. Student must take the High School Entrance Exam at Crespi Carmelite High School.
3. Student must have outstanding recommendations from his teachers and School Principal. The Letters of Recommendation forms are included in the application packet and can be downloaded here.
4. Student must have a strong academic record.
The scholarship is $10,000 over four years ($2,500 per year) if the student maintains a 3.0 GPA at the end of each semester. The number of scholarships is limited. Not every student who applies will be a scholarship recipient.
