  • Explanation of Fees

    Application Fee (new students only)
    This fee covers the cost of reviewing student documentation for possible admission and includes entrance examination if applicable.

    Mandatory Annual Registration Fee (Non-Refundable)
    This fee covers the cost associated with course selection and the scheduling process.

    Mandatory Annual Laptop Rental Fee (Non-Refundable)
    This fee covers the cost associated with Crespi’s 1:1 MacBook Air Learning Initiative. Each student will be issued a Mac Air preloaded with software, a mobile device management (MDM), and other education apps as part of Crespi’s educational program. Members of the Class of 2021 will have access to this device for their four years at Crespi. Members of the class of 2018 will return the Mac Air prior to graduation as part of a re-deployment program.

    Graduation Fee (mandatory for seniors only)
    This fee covers most costs associated with graduation activities i.e., Baccalaureate Mass, caps and gowns.

    Student Activities Fee (mandatory)
    This fee includes items such as the costs associated with day retreats for underclassmen, speakers/presentations for Exchange Day, etc.

    Facilities Maintenance Fee (mandatory)
    To provide a safe, secure, well-maintained and organized facility.

    Technology Fee (mandatory)
    The technology fee helps to defray the costs associated with technology within all areas of the school, i.e. the Technology & Resource Center, classroom upgrades, and general infrastructure.

    Yearbook (mandatory)
    This fee helps defray printing cost of the yearbook. All students receive a yearbook.

    Elective Course Fee
    To cover additional text and materials needed for a particular elective course. This fee is per class.

    Crespi Man Fund (CMF) Appeal
    The CMF Appeal helps to defray the deficit between the actual cost to educate a student at Crespi Carmelite High School and the tuition and fees charged. This donation assures that all families are able to participate in the social justice mission of Carmelite education. This minimum contribution helps the school meet its budgeted fundraising goal and is a tax-deductible contribution.

    AP Exam Fee
    Students in AP courses are required to take the AP Exam. This fee covers the exam fee charged by the College Board and is per exam taken

    Placement Exam Fee
    Placement Exams are offered in Math, Science, Foreign Language and English for incoming freshmen to advance to higher level courses, or honors/AP placement. The fee is per exam taken.

    Late Fee
    If payment is not received by the 10th day after a due date, a $25 late fee will be assessed.

    NSF Fee
    Each returned check is subject to a $25 return check charge.

    Athletic Spirit Pack Fee
    Cost varies by sport.

    Textbook Fee (Directly Payable to EdTech)
    This fee covers the cost of required textbooks for the 2017-2018 school year. Textbooks will be received as a bundle from Crespi’s eBook vendor EdTech/esco books. EdTech is a digital eBook platform from which all Crespi students’ textbooks will be accessible via a single sign-on.  The textbook bundle will be released at the beginning of the semester. The EdTech bookshelf can be accessed from a MacBook Air, iPad, or other mobile device.  

    Note: Parent acknowledges that annually, Crespi makes significant financial expenditures based upon enrollment and therefore, if a student leaves for any reason whatsoever after the first day of a semester, all remaining tuition & fees for the semester are fully payable and prepaid tuition & fees are not refundable.
  • Tuition Payment Options

    Annual Payment
    Tuition and fees are paid in full by July 10, 2017. Payments are made directly to Crespi. No fee is charged.
     
    FACTS Tuition Management

    • Semi-Annual Payments
    Tuition and fees are paid in two payments due July 10 and December 20, 2017. Payments are made through FACTS Tuition Service. There is a $25 participation fee.
     
    • Quarterly Payments
    Tuition and fees are paid in 4 payments due on July 10, October 10, 2017, January 10 and Apr 10, 2018. Payments are made through FACTS Tuition Service. There is a $50 participation fee.
     
    • Monthly Payments
    Tuition and fees are divided into ten (July 2017 to April 2018) or eleven payments (July 2017 to May 2018). Monthly payments for seniors must be completed by April 20 and for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors by May 20. All monthly payments are paid through FACTS Tuition Service and begin in July. There is a $100 participation fee.

    Loan Options
    Sallie Mae’s K–12 Family Education Loan and Your Tuition Solution can help you send your child to a private primary or secondary school. Get the money you need for tuition, computers, etc. This is an ideal solution for families who need additional flexibility in paying for private education beyond financial aid, personal savings or traditional payment plans. Loan companies will request a copy of your enrollment contract to certify tuition and fee amounts for the upcoming school year. All loan companies operate independently from Crespi Carmelite High School and all questions should go directly to your preferred loan company.
