Logan Soelberg '19 named Mission League Player of the Year
By: Coach Livingston
The 2018 Crespi Lacrosse team ended regular season play with a 9-9 record and entered the play offs as the #11 seed, where they fell to Oaks Christian in the 1st round.
Although there were many big contributors during the season, two players were recognized by the Mission League for their outstanding play. Logan Soelberg '19, a Maryland commit, was named Mission League Player of the Year and 1st Team All League Midfield. Soelberg finished the season with 62 goals, 17 assists, and 73 ground balls and became the 3rd Celt in the program's history to receive the coveted Player of the Year honor. Also recognized by the league was Matt Salerno '18, a Notre Dame football commit, who was named 2nd Team All League Specialist. Salerno finished the year with a face off win percentage of 54% and had 71 ground balls. With only 5 seniors graduating, the future looks bright for the Celt Lacrosse program. #Celtpride
