Big Brother Week
Our Seniors & Freshmen spent a week re-connecting with their Big/ Little Brothers before senior Graduation. |
Funday Monday
Tug-a-War Tuesday
Water Balloon Wednesday
Donut Day
Sundae Friday
It was a fun filled week starting with Funday Monday where everyone met at lunch for games on the field. Tuesday students watched the final IBA game followed by the Big Brother Tug-a-War. The annual Big Brother Water Balloon toss was a hit on Wednesday…not sure if a winner was declared- but some Crespi gear is still not quite dry! Thursday the freshmen were asked to reciprocate for the beginning of the year BBQ when seniors treated them to lunch. The seniors were VERY appreciative of all their Little Brothers as they shared dozens & dozens of donuts that morning! The week ended with a build your own sundae dessert bar for all seniors & freshmen . Over 30 gallons of ice cream & 10 different toppings made for many, many happy Celts!!! Big Brother Week was filled with good times, good food & hopefully…good memories.

Crespi faculty & staff were pampered all day Wednesday, as we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day. Clearly they all knew how much they are appreciated here!!
Thursday students crowded the quad to listen as we held our annual Drum Off during lunch.
Cash prizes were awarded to Connor Brown for 1st place & Mick Wood took 2nd.
The week finished up with Student Appreciation Day on Friday. Students were allowed to wear jeans & Crespi shirts. The Celts were all treated to free ice cream & live music during lunch. A special thanks to our musicians for providing great entertainment heard over the entire campus. |

National Honor Society (NHS)
Chapter #027553 |
The National Honor Society is the front-runner of organizations and societies that promote appropriate recognition for students. Selection is based on four criteria: 1) Scholarship, 2) Leadership, 3) Service, and 4) Character. To fulfill the scholarship requirement, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better. Students may petition for membership, but Crespi Carmelite High School considers membership an honor bestowed upon individual students from 10th, 11th and 12th grade.
NHS not only recognizes the academic efforts of our students, but exposes their generosity and dedication to their community. NHS members must not only maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5, but also volunteer to help at many of the Crespi High School functions and activities.

California Scholarship Federation (CSF)
Chapter #864sc |
The CSF is a statewide organization whose purpose is to foster academic achievement and service to the school and community. Any student who maintains membership in CSF for four semesters out of six in his last three years (one of which must be his senior year) and who has done assigned service to Crespi becomes a Gold Seal member. This honor is signified by a gold seal on the diploma and enables the students to compete for college and university scholarships.Membership is for one semester and is conferred during the semester following the one in which the qualifying grades were earned. In order to join CSF, a student must have a total of ten points based on last semester marks. The CSF points are calculated as follows:
| Grade of “A” in a subject which grants 5 semester credits |
3 points |
| Grade of “B” |
1 point |
| Grade of “C” |
0 points |
If a student receives a “D” or “F” grade in any subject, he is excluded from CSF membership for that semester.
