Crespi Swimming

The Celt’s swimming program is lead by tenth-year Head Coach Aaron Robinson.  Coach Robinson works on campus as the Internet Communications Manager. Crespi competes in the highly competitive C.I.F. Division I and is a member of the Mission League. The Celts currently practice and hold their home meets at the Schofield Aquatic Center at Pierce College. Over the years, Crespi Swimming has built a tradition of excellence through hard work and dedication by instilling in its swimmers the values of the Crespi Man. Crespi began its history of winning in 1970 when the Celts won their first league title. Since then, Crespi compiled an additional nine league titles, and was C.I.F. runner-up three times.

In the 2013 season, the Celts shattered a total of four more school records.  They were the 200 Medley Relay (Blair Simpkins, Devin Morris, Michael Harrigan, Jude Zamora), 200 Freestyle Relay (Jude Zamora, Blair Simpkins, Jack Howe, Michael Harrigan), and 400 Freestyle Relay (Jude Zamora, Mark Raybukh, Blair Siimpkins, Michael Harrigan) records were all broken this year.  Senior Michael Harrigan in the time of :46.58 broke Armen Darbinyan's record in the 100 Freestyle set just this past year.  Six swimmers competed in C.I.F. Divison I Finals, where the team finished 23rd out of 46 scoring teams. The AquaCelts also boast the 4th highest G.P.A. of all Division I swim teams in CIF, as well as the highest on Crespi's campus. With so much new young talent coming in 2014, we are sure to be a force to be reckoned with, and more records soon to fall!
